Stone Look Flooring Perth
The texture, feel and colour of natural stone in a seamless coating, at a fraction of what stone costs.
Stone Without The Stone Price
Natural stone is the finish most people want and the one most quotes rule out. Between the material, the substrate work and the laying, it lands well above what a floor budget usually allows, and then it needs sealing on a schedule, and the grout discolours regardless.
We have spent 25 years developing techniques that produce the texture, feel and colour of stone without any of that. It is one continuous surface, so there are no joints to fail and no grout to go dark, and it costs a fraction of the real thing.
How We Build It
Trowel work creates the texture and the variation. The topcoat is stained before it is sealed in, which is what gives the depth and the movement that reads as stone rather than as a painted floor.
Because it is hand-built, no two floors come out identical. That is the point – uniformity is what makes imitation surfaces look fake.
Existing tiles do not need to come up. We diamond grind, then screed and self-level over the top before building the finish.

Choosing A Look
Stone finishes vary more than the other two, because the pattern complexity is a choice as much as the colour is. A subtle, even stone reads very differently to one with strong movement and contrast.
We bring samples and work through it in the room, against whatever is already there – benchtops, tiles, brickwork.

What Our Clients Say
Stone Look Flooring Questions
How convincing is it?
Convincing enough that most people do not realise until they are told. It is hand-built though, so it depends on the workmanship rather than the product. Ask to see real jobs.
Is there grout?
No. It is one seamless surface, which is the main practical advantage over real stone – nothing to discolour and nothing to scrub.
Does it need sealing like real stone?
No. It is sealed as part of the installation and does not need the ongoing sealing schedule natural stone requires.
Will it be cold underfoot?
Less so than actual stone or porcelain.
Can it go outside?
Yes, with a UV-stable system and grip set for wet areas.
Do the tiles have to come up?
No. We screed and self-level straight over them.
