To achieve our wood plank look is simple yet requires an experienced professional. Once we have screeded over tiles (if required) and self-levelled your floors, we then scribe in the wood planks by hand to achieve the perfect symmetrical timber plank flooring.
Once the flooring is dry, we machine the floor to remove any imperfections and clean them all up via vacuum. We then move on to re-prime the floors and install a wood stain colour of your choosing. We finish the floor with two coats of satin polyurethane sealer and job done.
The use of wood stains gives the floor the desired wood grain and color. The stains are applied in layers, and we can create a wide range of different wood looks, from light oak to dark walnut. This process is extremely effective.
