Commercial & Industrial Flooring Perth

Heavy-duty floor coatings for workshops, warehouses, factories, food premises and mine sites across WA. Specified for the way the floor actually gets used, not off a generic price list.

Flooring That Survives What Your Site Throws At It

Commercial and industrial floors take a beating that domestic floors never see. Forklift traffic, pallet drops, dragged steel, hot wash-down, oil, coolant, acids and solvents, often all in the same building.

We specify the system around that. A mechanical workshop with oil and hot tyre contact needs a different build to a cool room, and both need something different again to a bunded chemical store. Getting that call right at the quoting stage is the difference between a floor that lasts fifteen years and one that fails inside two.

The systems we use are seamless, solvent-free, zero-VOC, non-flammable and highly chemical resistant. They are the same products used across building and civil construction, which means they will stand up to specification review where the job calls for it.

Why Coatings Fail Early

Almost every failed floor we are called out to look at comes back to the same handful of things.

The slab was not prepared properly
Coatings key into concrete mechanically. If the surface was not diamond ground back to a clean profile, the coating is sitting on laitance and it will peel, usually starting at doorways and drains.

Moisture was not tested
Vapour pushing up through a slab lifts a coating from underneath. Older slabs and anything poured without a membrane need testing before a price is worth anything.

The wrong system was specified
A standard epoxy in an acid contact area or under hot wash-down will chalk, blister and let go. That is a specification problem, not a product problem.

Contamination was not dealt with
Oil that has soaked into a workshop slab over twenty years has to come out before anything goes over the top of it.

We check all four before we quote. If a slab needs remediation first, we will say so up front rather than coat over the problem and warrant something we know will not hold.

How A Commercial Job Runs

  1. Site visit
We come out, look at the slab, test for moisture where it is warranted, and talk through what happens in the space day to day.
  2. Specification and quote
You get a written scope naming the system, the build thickness, the slip rating and the preparation method. Within 48 hours.
  3. Programming around you
Nights, weekends, shutdown windows, staged areas. Most of our commercial work happens outside trading hours because that is what keeps you operating.
  4. Preparation
Diamond grinding or shot blasting back to a sound profile. Crack repair, joint treatment and patching before anything gets coated.
  5. Installation
Coved and sealed at the edges where the job needs it. Line marking and demarcation applied as part of the same visit.
  6. Handover
You get the product data sheets, the cure times and a maintenance rundown.
